Wander through our acre plot with an ever-changing array of seasonal flowers & foliage for you to pick. Not only do you get to take home a stunning, unique bunch of seasonal, chemical-free flowers but selecting and picking them is the ultimate mindful activity.

Opening times:
🗓️ June, July & August: 10am - 4pm

💐 Pick a container of up to 40 stems for £25. Includes reusable & compostable wrapping.
💐Children can pick a mini jar of flowers for £5. (There is no need to book these.)
☕️ 🍰 Our Shed will be open selling hot & cold drinks & cake. We’ve got plenty of picnic benches & parasols amongst the flowers.
✂️ The Blooming Green shop will be open selling floristry goodies, vases, cards, gifts & our dried flowers.

All 1 hour picking slots require pre-booking & pre-payment of containers (children’s mini jars do not need pre-booking) via our website. Additional containers can be paid for on arrival, on the day, if capacity allows.

💰 On a budget? Why not share a container with friends? Additional wrapping when splitting a container of flowers is just £2.

Join Bek and the Blooming Green horticulture team for an illustrated talk ‘A year in the life of a flower farmer’ where you will find out how we grow plants to provide us with flowers, foliage and berries all year round.
👩🏼🌾 We grow regeneratively, focusing on soil health, including wildlife habitats in our growing space, we never use synthetic chemicals for feed or pesticides and always use peat-free compost. After 15 years we have 17cm of humus rich soil.
🐝 We provide a pollen and nectar source for pollinators from February to November. Each year we sow and raise 29,274 plants which have flowers that are beneficial for pollinators as well as cutting.
🌱The talk will be followed by a Q&A session where Bek and the team will do their best to answer all your flower & foliage-growing queries.
🍰 Tea and cake provided!

Happy #internationalwomensday2024 !!! We`re always appreciative of the amazing women around us, both close at hand, and around the world but today`s a great day for giving it a bit more thought. So, during our coffee break, we decided to name inspiring woman, in the fields of horticulture or floristry... There were just 4 of us on the flower plot today, when at our peak there are around 10 -- and nearly all women. Some who didn`t get a mention, amongst the list of great women include: Vita Sackville-West, Erin Benzakien, our friend Dr Erica McAlister and the BBC presenter Sue Kent. Not to mention family and friends who amaze us every day. So, have a fab day... and if you`re a woman, give yourself a pat on the back... and if you`re a man, think yourself lucky that you share the planet with some pretty amazing women...
